We couldn’t help but do a double-take after reading the announcement of Kate Middleton’s surgery.
One line, in particular, makes us believe that even Kensington Palace knew they were being borderline cryptic.
In theirInstagramannouncement, Kensington Palace announced that Kate was entering the hospital for “planned abdominal surgery.”

That enormous amount of days is what really got our “something’s fishy” radar beeping.
Most simple abdominal surgeries require a relatively short stay in the hospital.
Some royal fans have their own theories.

“10-14 days??”
one commenter wrote in sheer disbelief.
“If you stay that long in an American hospital, your situation is dire.”

Wishing the Princess God’s healing powers."
And Kensington Palace insists on remaining secretive about Kate’s road to recovery during her extended hospital stay.
According to the statement, Kate isn’t planning to return to her public duties until after Easter 2024.
“If you didn’t want anyone asking questions or interested, why even make an announcement?”
one upset user commented.
We can certainly agree with this sentiment.
PerBBC, Her Royal Highness is doing well after her surgery and seems to be recovering as expected.
