The TV host has been married three times, starting in 2004, when he married Meredith Schwarz.
The couple’s relationship started early in high school, and they married five years after graduation.

In 2008, however, Schwarz filed for divorce.
Beyond allegations of emotional abuse, there were allegations that Hegseth cheated.
According toAPM Reports, one of these relationships involved someone Hegseth knew from work.

A month after she learned about Hegseth’s behavior, Schwarz started divorce proceedings.
Hegseth and Deering were both working with the group Vets for Freedom in 2008.
The first of their three children arrived prior to their wedding two years later.

Four years into their marriage, Hegseth started his job at Fox News.
However, in 2017 the situation became public knowledge.
Both Rauchet and Hegseth began divorce proceedings with their respective spouses this same year.

For Hegseth and Deering, the divorce process was particularly fraught as they dealt with co-parenting arrangements.
“Sam is a good mother and a good person,” Penelope asserted.
The couple had announced their engagement two months earlier.
Ironically, Hegseth himself has said he’s not in favor of divorce.
Pete Hegseth also was accused of sexual assault
The year 2017 was particularly messy for Pete Hegseth.
Although Hegseth claimed their activities were consensual, the woman asserted his behavior was forceful.
While no formal charges occurred, Hegseth faced potential legal consequences over two years later.
Eventually, he settled with the woman out of court because he was purportedly worried about losing his job.
She’s also recanting her 2018 email with its scathing reprimands of his marital behavior.
“I wrote that in haste,” Penelope recalled toFox News.
“About two hours later, I retracted it with an apology.”
If you or anyone you know has been a victim of sexual assault, help is available.
