However, Teri’s career really took off following her role in 1974’s"Young Frankenstein.

After John was assassinated, Robert became a New York senator, and made a bid for president himself.

He was assassinated in 1968 before the election could take place.

Shortly after his death, Ethel created a foundation, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights.

In 2014, then President Barack Obama awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

She was 87 years old.

The actor is survived by her husband, Steve Bakunas, her stepchildren, and multiple grandchildren.

The series ran from 1976 to 1985, and earned Lavin two Golden Globe Best Actress awards.

In addition to her on-camera work, Lavin was well-known for her presence on the stage.

He was the 39th president, and was sworn into office in 1977.

In 2002, Jimmy was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his work.
