He shares two daughters and a son with his current partner.
“I had them much too old in life I started when I was 52,” Grant said.
At the same time, however, he credited his kids for making him a much deeper human being.

“I think I was a dried-up, middle-aged, golf-addicted Englishman.
“Ten years ago, I wouldn’t have thought about having children at all.
“But that’s on the basis that I can leave after 10 minutes.

I don’t know what it would be like 24 hours a day.
I think I’d have a lot of nannies.”
“I like my daughter very much.
Has she changed my life?
I’m not sure.
Not massively, no.
But I’m absolutely thrilled to have had her, I really am.
And I feel a better person,” he said.
